A Beefeater
Since the 13th century the Tower has had many royal animal.  Many were gift such as an elephant from France.  Other animals included things like monkeys, lions, polar bears, alligators, and giraffes.

This picture is hard to see, but these are things that have been found in the Thames River.  People, called mudlarks, still search the river and find things today.

This would be a piece of equipment at a mint.  It was used to press the patterns into the different metals.

Canon balls
Legend has it that Charles II was told that if the ravens left the Tower, the kingdom and the fortress would fall.  The Tower still keeps ravens on its grounds today and their wings are clips so they can not fly out if its walls.
